This past fall, my wife and I both turned 30. We are also currently a few weeks (possibly days) away from having our next child, so we knew we had one last chance to have a quick getaway before baby #3 arrived. New York City has always been high up on our list, so I surprised her with a trip for her birthday. I know this isn’t a wedding post, but I wanted to put this on my blog anyway. I did do an engagement session while I was there, but I’ll be posting that as a separate post here later.
We did about as much as you could in a 3-1/2 day NYC trip. We went to Broadway for The Lion King, saw tons of outstanding architecture, went up into One World Trade for views of the city, ate amazing food, went into expensive shops where we couldn’t afford a thing, hung out with great friends, walked many many miles, went to Macy’s on black Friday (mistake), drank tons of coffee, became obsessed with bridges, had many bagels, and enjoyed ourselves fully.
Many people have asked about purchasing photos from the trip, and so if you’d like more info, just email me through the contact form. Thanks!
