I love New Orleans. I really love shooting weddings in New Orleans, especially if the groom is Australian and if the couple is as easy going as Caroline and Michael.
With Caroline and Michael’s chemistry, combined with the backdrop of New Orleans, my job was incredibly easy. I must say that every New Orleans wedding I have shot has been drastically different, but they have all been incredible. This was no different. Caroline has family in the area, so we spent most of the day bouncing in and out of family’s houses getting ready, taking photos, and hanging out. Even the reception was at a family member’s house. Well, I say “house” but really it was a beautiful example of New Orleans architecture, grandeur, and style.
Caroline and Michael have now moved back to Australia, but I hope to visit one day and maybe, just maybe, shoot a wedding there too.
