Incredible.
That word hardly does this wedding justice. When Rachel contacted me last year about shooting her destination beach wedding on Ono Island, I could not say yes fast enough. I had always wanted to shoot a small beach wedding, and this one sounded perfect.
The only people there were family and close friends – enough people to fit on the boat dock with room to spare. When my good friend and fellow photographer Paul and I showed up, we were greeted as family. Despite the threat of heavy downpours, everyone was in great spirits. And sure enough, a few minutes into the day, it poured. That still didn’t get them down. Even when they realized that the groom’s cake would not show up, they went and bought the first cake they could find at the local store and “decorated” it a bit as it continued to pour outside.
And pour.
And pour.
Finally, the sky cleared, the temperatures stayed low, and the scene could not have been more perfect.
They are adorable. The day looks so beautifully planned and executed. And your photos Sully, fantastic. Seriously. I can feel the rainy day and the excitement and the love. Fantastic.
Awesome work dude! Thanks for letting me join you as the second photographer for all of this wedding awesomeness.
We are so happy with these! I have so many double chin photos because I was smiling so hard the whole day!
I am planning my wedding for May 29th 2017 on o.o island , and would love to have pictures done like this , is there anyway I can get a price?
