There is just something about these Mississippi Delta weddings. I have shot several weddings in the Delta and every single one is ridiculously awesome.
This one was no different.
There were 21 groomsmen. Yes, 21. And every one of them was given a machete as their gift. And even though the bridal party was so large, it felt quite intimate – something that was special to see because all of them are great friends. I shot a wedding at this house back in June, but Jane’s family actually owns the house. She grew up playing there. So to celebrate their wedding on the grounds felt comfortable and personal.
